About Me
I started my career in investment banking, convinced it was where serious people went to do serious things. I quickly realized it wasn't for me, too far from actually building, too much advising without skin in the game. I learn faster when something is mine.
What I love is the game of business itself. The strategy of it, chess and poker wrapped into one. You're competing, you're reading the board, the stakes are real, and you can play forever. It's not a game for everyone, but it works well with my mind.
I'm from the West Coast, but currently based in Charlotte, NC. My favorite places on earth are Praiano, Italy, Malibu (which has a special place in my heart), and Central Park on a Saturday morning. I love community & cultures - people are the prize.
Outside of work: good music, high desert when I can get there, too much time in saunas, breakfasts outside, surfing / ocean, dinners with the guys, a gin and tonic at an airport. The simple stuff. That's mostly what I'm after.
